Info: He was raised by cats until he was 5, when Mei found him and adopted him. He already had Cobalt Blade, because he was chosen as its 'master.' Mei hid it in the wall, because of the Shadow Alliance, but he would hear it calling to him an see it in his dreams. He often uses his cat skills in bda-battles. Yamato is a true bda-player, he believes in friendship, always helps others, has determination and awesome skills! Cobalt Blade and Cobalt Saber mainly focus on power. Throughtout the series, Yamato faces a series of tests, all that will test him for the final battle with Marda B. Of course, he passes with flying colors.
Gray Michael Vincent

Birthday: April 30 (Taurus)
B-daman: Chrome Zephyr/Chrome Raven
Info: Gray first seemed to be evil, then became a good friend of Yamato, who was crushed when he found out Gray was with the Shadow Alliance. However, Gray was only with them for Lienna. Evenetually, Lienna was rescued and Gray joined up with the others. He is a very talented bda-player and is devoted to his friends and sister. He doesn't seem very social, but it's because he was sometimes violent when he was younger. In addition to excellent control with his b-daman, Gray can read the wind. He is Yamato's best friend and a good person to have on your side.
Bull Borgnine

Birthday: January 29 (Aquarius.)
B-daman: Helio Breaker/Helio Beserker
Info: Even though Auqarius is the water bearer, Bull does not cool things down. He has 3 personalities. Normally, he seems to be a quiet and...forgetful...boy, but when he sees a bda-battle or hold his b-daman, he transforms. The Second Bull is smart and confident, the Third Bull is INSANE! The second and third Bulls try to steal b-daman at first, but then they become good and fix their friends' b-daman. Bull 1 often falls asleep and laughs randomly, but is very nice. Bull 2 is a good friend and skilled bda-player. Bull 3 is loud and may have even more energy than Yamato! He is also a very skilled bda-player, I believe his techniques are mainly power oriented. Overall, Bull is a great person to have on your side.
Terry McScotty

B-daman: Wing Ninja/Wing Sword
Info: Terry is the famous scottish ninja. He trained under Armada with Yamato and is a very skilled bda-player like his friends. He carries a sword and has used it a few times in the series. Some have mistaken Terry for a girl, but he is a boy. Sometimes he seems shy around others, but that is because he spent much time training and very little time socializing. Terry is dedicated to b-daman and his friends. He is also a very good cook and has a fair knowledge of wilderness survival. Terry is a loyal friend who will always help and cheer on the others.

Info: Tommi is Yamato and Mei's pet cat. He is very cute, but sometimes sneaky. (He will steal your food when you look away.) But he is always supportive of Yamato and the others. Tommi races with Yamato often, and did very well at the kitty olympics (epsiode 20 or 21). He is helpful and just plain awesome!
Mei Daiwa

B-daman: prefers various cooking tools and her bare hands (a light slap from her can REALLY hurt!)
Info: Mei is Yamato's adoptive mother. When she was 17, she found him with the wild cats. She took him back home and taught him to be a normal boy
Lienna Grace Vincent

B-daman: Garnet Wind
Info: Gray's clone, er, twin. (But of course, she's nicer and prettier). Lienna was kidnapped by the Shadow Alliance, which is why Gray was with them. She is brainwashed after Yamato and Gray have a battle, and defeats Terry when she is disguised as Sigma. She shows herself to be skilled with her b-daman (after dropping Sigma's Scope General into the water and taking out Garnet Wind). Once she is rescued, Lienna shows that she is not really as cold and evil as she was under Ababa's control. Lienna is revealed to be a sweet, kind girl who makes friends easily. After Sigma comes and crashes the party in his anger at her, he eventually joins the large group of her fans. This charming girl can win over anyone with a simple smile! But she's not just sugar, there's plenty of spice in her as well. Lienna can hold her own in a bda-battle, and come out on top (even better in season 2). Later, Lienna helps Mei at her cafe. Lienna is simply, awesome!
